This would be a hit to our QB room but good opportunity for him

I'm still stunned at the Steelers hiring McCarthy. What an uninspiring hire

Most of our coaches came up under him. I would’ve liked him had we missed out on Kellen. And this year in particular didn’t have many young offensive guys

I think he’ll do well, but their problem will be finding a QB. It almost takes a tank season to get him next year

Like CSP he left before contract was up because he got tired of looking for a QB.

He’s never been an OC. He’s taking that position if he gets offered- unless he’s good with direction Kellen has Saints.

He’s from WI / IL. Summers might be too much.

They should accept their lumps this year with a fill in and then grab one from the all world 2027 class the following

Well Shough still has at least 2 former NFL QBS to be coached by. Moore might hire another guy

If you don't have positional coaches interviewing for coordinator jobs and coordinators interviewing for head coaching jobs, you lack coaching talent. This, plus Staley, tells me Moore knows how to put together a staff.

I think he takes even though he’s good with our direction. Promotion and increases his profile

Not always. Taking a bad job can actually expose your flaws and put bad labels on you. It was for that reason Parcells told Payton to not take the Raiders HC job.

That Pitt job is a dicey one, though the organization has been known as a steady one for a long, long time, so he does probably take it. If this was the Jets OC job I think he turns it down.

100%. I think he takes it given that relationship with McCarthy
