Where were they when Woody dismantled the basketball program over what would amount to the loss of one scholarship?

Crazy how silent they were when we retained him. 3rd worst SEC coach of all time.

I think there would be more excitement in a morgue.

Woodward burned the program down while Bill Self won a national title that same season

Let’s see if Hunt will sunshine pump for this loser again tomorrow.

I’m interested in the betting line so I can take SC

While Self basically said FU to the NCAA and just ignored them. Guess what? - Nothing happened.

Kansas told the ncaa to suck their dick. Scott put us on our knees for the ncaa. Scott was a disaster of an AD

Scott is not a basketball beat writer, he writes op-ed columns mostly and for one of the infrequent times he wrote this one about LSU basketball because it was kind of a watershed moment for the program under CMM.
It was an embarrassing display by our Tigers at home against at best a mediocre State team and most would say they are not really mediocre with their 109 Net ranking coming in.
Our defense was totally unprepared both in theory and execution, outside of Tomba we seemed lifeless and lethargic. Offensively they hard hedged our ball screens and it pretty much threw us in to a tailspin it took until the second half to adjust to.
Listening to Brady on the drive home he talked about how effective the trapping was in the second half and that he "wished we had done more of that earlier". Me too coach.

Can we start a list of who we would want as our next men’s Basketball Coach if money wasn’t an option? Yes, some will require buyouts and big salaries. I’ll start.

Nate Oats
