I remember some dude with flowing blonde hair telling them to do this years ago, and they laughed at him

Well, what are they going to "phase in"? Haven't they neutered themselves energy-wise?

All Europeans can see now that it was a huge mistake to be dependent on Russian fossil fuels. We should never have done that.
Ok glad that you get it now, so pay attention to the next problem. It is a huge mistake to allow foreigners to invade your country. Do something

Germany especially. They shut down their 3 largest nuclear facilities because Fukushima scared them.

It all means more LNG facilities will be built in SWLA on top of the ones we have and are currently building

The 45 people who still live in lower Cameron will continue to protest

Texas and Louisiana LNG abroad which creates more demand for O&G assets. We are crushing it right now in the pipeline transportation business and geopolitics is a major factor.

There is still a glut of NG in the Permian Basin and there at least 3 MAJOR pipeline projects right now to get that NG to market particularly due to the energy demand from AI.
The circular investing that was taking place in the AI space that the WSJ reported on a few months ago is finally breaking out as these Big Tech investors invest in energy infrastructure.

They're firing up old coal-fire plants to keep the lights on and the heat going.
Coal plants vital in Germany

I just spent a few minutes reading some european reddit on heating homes... those people are miserable. Thread after thread of hot water bottles, electric blankets, heating on an hour or two a day, wearing full on winter gear indoors, etc... yikes

Yet people consider European countries so much better than the United States

Post factual article. Then follow up with hilarious vid where Western Euros laughed at Trump for telling them what would happen.

So they want to phase out independence on the US for defensive needs.
