What candy are you throwing out today? Extreme levels Arsenic in candy!

Florida just dropped a bombshell: 28 out of 46 popular candy brands tested had elevated arsenic levels like Tootsie Rolls, hitting 570 ppb.

For general reference, background levels of arsenic in soil in Louisiana are 700 ppb

I used to have a serious sweet tooth... nearly all those candies. Bags and bags of them back when I had a metabolism and could eat what I wanted.

700 ppb is 0.7 ppm. Don't eat dirt. Sucking crawfish heads might be the biggest threat to us. Make sure to wash them well. If this news brings down the cost of crawfish I will consider this a public service..
