Garbage can from the Ft. Morgan, AL area (just west of Gulf Shores) believed to have been washed away by Hurricane Sally’s storm surge in 2020 has washed up in Weymouth, England, UK.

What do you think the combined number of teeth are between the people who lost it and the people who found it?

Greater than the combined number of teeth found amongst all residents of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

How much of the meth stash was still in it?

Somewhere in Baldwin county a woman is still bitching at her husband for not taking that trash can out.

"The county is trying to track down the trash can's owner to tell them its story"
Or to bill them for it
Or to bill them for it

Exactly. They’ll probably come claim the replacement can or bill the owner for having two cans.

The UK govt has already given it asylum and has put it up in a hotel next to a school

Ain't no telling how many dolphins had been stacked up under that thing across the Gulf, Caribbean and Atlantic.

Kind of gives a new meaning to: Give me …”The wretched refuse of your teeming shore”

Surprised an illegal wasn't using it as a raft.

Makes sense. Physical oceanography and stuff...

I went backpacking on the Olympic Coast in Washington back in the summer of 2015 and was finding stuff on the beaches from the Japanese tsunami that happened in 2011.

Garbage out, garbage in

Most likely from a Louisiana resident who has a beach house in Ft Morgan. Ft Morgan was in the inner eye wall of Sally and had 110 mph winds for 8-10 hours so it makes sense it was swept way out. Ft Morgan only has about 500 full time residents and they all mostly have teeth. 75% are retired from elsewhere.

They've been doing constant updates on the trash can on the local news. They said last night "coming up, a full segment on the trash cans journey across the Atlantic" and I just started laughing

An exhausted and malnourished Oscar The Grouch hopped out and immediately started kissing the ground. His first words? "Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?"
