Looks like it might only be for new vehicles. I couldn't sign up for it.

My aftermarket Alpine XM radio is at least 10 years old. Input XM radio ID & it says not eligible for this promotion.

i have this but when I did it it was only for vehicles that were so old their head unit didn't provide all the current channels for SiriusXM. I think it was for vehicles that only did XM or Sirius.
