Mad Men- finally watching it

It took me 3 tries to get into this show but now that I did i think its great.
Don is such an enigma....he is a great character and a complete POS.

2 things bug me....
1. Why is pete campbell the only one that is showing age with his receding hairline?
2. Why is Sylvia and Dr. Rosens apartment that is a floor above dons so much shittier?

Don starts to show subtle signs of decay as his collapse continues in the later seasons. He never had a hair out of place in the first season but after marrying Megan hes just sloppy looking at times.

One other thing....the kid that plays Glenn is a HORRIBLE actor.

I thought he was great as the youngest version of Glenn.. little weirdo with no parents who collects blonde hair
Older versions of him were not great

I won’t spoil it, but there comes a point where Don does some things that you know are completely despicable yet I found myself mad at the characters for finding out instead of at Don for doing it. Which is incredible writing and acting.
Also, Don is way better at his job than anyone else at the firm. Fight me.

Also, the only person on the show that was ever a threat to Don in terms of talent was Ginsberg

This show and Handmaids Tale, guys are fawning over her, ruining their families, commitng treason....for a mid AF chick with a bird face.
Last season of Handmaids Tale she looked like a linebacker...Specifically Jack Ham...with all her teeth/.

Never thought she was pulling crazy high end guys in MM. the biggest pull she had was probably Pete and it was early season 1 when he was about to get married and was likely just reaching out for the nearest girl he could.
Notice it basically never comes up again after like the 1-2 times they bang. Unless I’m misremembering most of her guys after that are just regular schmucks right?
She’s the perfect character for a go getter who blasts through the barriers set up in episode 1. I think she’s supposed to be specifically not super attractive and more just average.
