Bike Rack Question

Don't know whether this goes here or Outdoors Board.
I need a trailer hitch mounted bike rack for two bikes (never more). These are VERY ordinary bikes. They are not fragile in the least.
This will go on an SUV, so I would like one that can swing down to allow the rear door to open.
Recommendations?

But I need one for 4 bikes that tilts down, and preferably doesn't cost a grand.

Velocirax for anything more than 2 bikes.

We went with Thule from Dick's. Similar setup. Hitch mounted on an SUV so it folds out of the way when we pop the back open.
We looked at the two bike option thinking we could cram kiddo's bike and 'make it work' but in the end got the 4 bike model. No issues and sturdy.
Bikes are MTBs and cost was about $250.

This is the correct answer for a swing down but they start at three bikes. Don't get anything that touches the paint of the bike as that will rub a spot on the finish over time. Get something that touches the bike tires instead.

I've had nearly all of them over the years and have been accused of having more money in bikes than my (previous) truck was worth - actually that's true.
VelociRAX (also Alta, JB, North Shore vertical), 1Up, and RockyMounts are the only ones I'd touch with my bikes. Alta and JB have better ground clearance than VR if you're headed offroad to get to a trailhead. 1Up and RM both have single, double, or triples and you can get the double if that suits your needs now and expand to a triple later if needed. Use to ride with a guy who was a diehard Kuat fan, but he kept having to send it for repairs and I wasn't impressed with the one I had, very middle of the road not premium as some adherent claim.
As previously mentioned, you do NOT want ANY rack that suspends the bike by the frame, period, full stop.
You're going to want a locking mechanism to lock the rack to the hitch such as a crossbolt through the receiver; I've come off of rides to see riders pulling their hair out that their entire hitch had been taken because it was unlocked. And, of course, a good way to lock the bikes to the rack itself.

Rocky Mounts-everyone I know that has one loves it.
Kuat-I have one. It’s heavy, but seemingly indestructible. I have heard of the pistons failing, though.
