Using Livingston as a defense against an HOA is hilarious

Probably wealthier post Katrina. There were a lot of old people there and they mostly sold after the storm. A lot of those houses were either upgraded big time or torn down with newer and much bigger housing built in their place.

The Bluffs is 30 miles from BR.

Can anyone point out exactly where the prestigious "River Oaks" neighborhood is in New Orleans?

I've never heard of Bayou Bridge, or Dunleith in Metairie.

Is old Metairie not a neighborhood anymore? That list seems off.
ETA: just saw it at 22nd.

When I worked at the bank, a lot of the post-Katrina residents in Lakeview where young professionals who made a lot of money but were all cash poor because they have a mortgage on a $500k+ 2000 sqft house plus two new cars and kids in private school.

Isn’t that kinda like ranking the best lots in the trailer park?

Just wondering because that was one of the hardest hit areas.

The Big Lee Old Metairie or the MCG Old Metairie? Big difference.

They should've separated it as Metairie Club Gardens and it would've been in the top 5 easily.
Typically "Old Metairie" still has a lot of those "post WWII cottages" and 50's ranch style houses still around...

FYI it’s based on home value and income, not wealth.
Some correlation between the them is likely. But it’s still misleading.
