As good a roster as anyone in country. Hope to get good matchups in Dance. Could happen.

They are obviously very good but also they played high schools in the pre conference that padded their stats.

Lack of bench/depth was what separated LSU from USCe/Tx last yr so they closed that gap and now have depth to compete and beat those teams

LOL, I love how the haters always leave off the fact that the bulk of all of the teams' early opponents is weak as hell. USCe etc. ate plenty of cupcakes too.

What's the point of saying something like this. Yeah, you are right, they are terrible. What a miserable thing to say.

So has everyone else. To date, they’ve played 5 pre-season top 25 teams, 4 of which are still ranked today.

if we are hitting on all cylinders we can win it all.

Jada Richard is the lynchpin. If she is hitting her jump shot, we are extremely difficult to stop. There are so many other people to guard, her contribution is a huge difference maker. The problem so far is what we've had a tough time with that and general consistency overall. She's only had a couple of games where she's gotten hot and Big4 and MW have been pretty streaky.

Same thing happened in 23 though. Alexis Morris got white hot in that natty game and there was no stopping us.

Not disagreeing, as Morris had 21 points in the blowout win over Caitlin Clark & her Hawkeyes. However, don’t forget Ladazia Williams chipped in 20 points, with several backbreaking 3-point shots throughout the game. BTW, Angel Reese had a double double with 15 & 10, and Freshmen sensation Flaujae Johnson had 10 points. Iowa’s Caitlin Clark put up 30 points in the 102-85 Tiger victory. Let’s do it again ladies!

The schedule they played has something to do with that, and also something to do with why we lost our first two conference games, the competition was so ridiculously bad we ran up some good numbers.

But make no mistake we have a good team that IMHO should make the Final Four unless we're a 2-seed paired with the wrong 1-seed as a match up.

Per Warren Nolan

LSU SOS is 107
S Carolina is 21

S Carolina had some cupcakes sure, but we took the cake.

A few others U Conn 7, Tenn 8, and Texas 11

We are doing great right now and there is no argument about that, but let’s not ignore the fact that we padded out stats early on.[quote]

Our depth makes us scary. If they peak in March, watch out!

I knew LSU had fire power & depth, but I was kind of worried about the shooting off nights. Instead, what I've seen on the off nights, is there's too many shooters for everyone to be off in one night.

Flau'jae & Fulwiley are cold? That's ok, MK & Jada get hot. Williams only gets 8 points? Flau'jae gets a season high night. MK & Flau'jae have a lid on the rim? Fulwiley is the high scorer. Koval can't score or rebound? Joyner gets a double-double. Joyner ineffective? Koval gives 16 pts and Knox grabs double-digit boards. Knox in foul trouble? Zakiyah steps up, etc. etc...

I don't think Kim cares much about sos. She also seems to think confidence and getting minutes for young & inexperienced palyers early is the the best plan. I trust her to put her teams in the best position possible every year.

We need Mikaylah Williams to be hot through the playoffs she is key for this team. When she’s hot she can shoot from anywhere on the floor.

She certainly is an elite coach, but the discussion was about how our stats were padded because of the sos.

"Competition....."? Yea, a 4 time NC HOF coach, who has scheduled her teams , going on 40 yrs, exactly the same way (according to her own comments), doesn't know what's best for her teams. Curious: what teams were on her nonconference schedule just a few years ago when her LSU team won her 4th NC? Exactly. No one knows / cares.
