No shootings, no protestors with idiotic whistles, no clowns at Target buying salt and returning it back.
80,000 lb trucks going down the Interstate at 70-80 mph is dangerous enough. Then throw in the mix a bunch of wore out, unsafe 18 wheelers with illegals who can't speak a word of English. Disaster

Saturday morning, deputies with the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office focused traffic enforcement efforts on commercial truck traffic entering the Meta construction site. During these traffic stops, 13 individuals who were stopped for traffic violations were found to be unlawfully present in the United States. All individuals were detained and released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

That is awesome. Hopefully, if those guys want to work here, they can get their legal rights to do so.

This is how it goes when local law enforcement cooperates with ICE instead of being told to stand down by the local government.

Gotta keep getting these folks back to their countries of origin.
I am ok with them trying to come to this country, but do not do it by walking to the border. Do it by going to the consulate and submitting paperwork and waiting until they are invited to come by the government.

Makes me wonder what percentage of the big rig drivers out there are illegals. I knew there were some but thought it was a low percentage. Guess I was wrong.

Most likely tens of thousands. I will say that most of the junky unsafe 18 wheelers on I-20 around the meta center site in Richland parish is very rare now.
DOT with the cooperation of local LEOs has been shutting down a lot of these crappy 18 wheelers all over.

Please be sure to post again when their employer(s) have been fined and/or arrested.

Most who were 'detained' were po-dunk independents who were recruited by Meta and a few of the contractors.
IDK if true or not but the scuttle butt was that several of the contractors were given stern warnings and yes, even some fines.
