Besides Texas schools, is any SEC team adapting to new world better than LSU?

When I watch these national guys such as Barrie and Crain, they say the Texas schools are the only ones in the SEC matching the Big 10. Lately they are saying and LSU.

I mean, is LSU really adapting more or did we just hire a new football coach who doesn’t give a F and was also given an open checkbook his first month?

In the last 5 years, Georgia has been the most successful program in the SEC. Maybe that will change, but neither Texas nor Texas A&M comes anywhere close to doing what UGA has.

Yeah, they've won 3 of the last 4.
If any team is the one to knock Georgia off in Atlanta, it's always been LSU.

Ole Miss seemed to beat us to the punch, no?

Ohio State still wins on high school recruiting. They are not reloading out of the portal except maybe a few very targeted spots.
Indiana built from the portal.
Michigan was built for their run mainly on high school recruiting.
NCAA will be changing the portal and NIL rules soon based on what LSU did in the portal this year.

Texas is the only school that can actually afford WBB without sacrificing another major sport

Lane Kiffin knows that in the NIL environment, the days of recruiting 25 or so recruits every year, only to lose half of them to the portal the next year are over. He knows that he can build through the portal and seek out the best players looking for pay with 2-3 years of eligiblity left, as he has done this year in his first year at LSU. You have to like our chances this year to be very good, and with luck even further.

Ohio state had the most expensive roster in 2024, mostly due to transfers

What exactly have the Texas schools done to “match” the Big 10? Neither of them have won anything.
