Something that I learned in my concealed handgun training class years ago.

You commies like to distort the truth with your version, aka “our democracy bs”. When you are carrying a firearm you cannot not instigate or escalate a confrontation and claim self defense or innocence. You must try and deescalate the situation. Now they never said not to try and impede, harass, and attack federal officers in the process of carrying out lawful removal of illegal aliens. So here’s to your distortion of the 2nd amendment and continuous TDS.

I was always told anytime you are pulled over or encounter LEOs while carrying always let them know first thing.

In Florida, you do not have to retreat, but you certainly can't go looking for trouble, i.e., fricking with federal law enforcement carrying out their legal duties.

MN state law required that even IF this guy had a permit (which I have yet to see proven) he MUST have that permit AND a government issued ID such as a DL when carrying. Yet we learned that he had neither yesterday.

That’s my impression as well. Always let them know if you are carrying.
I’ve always got a handgun nearby when in a vehicle. I let them know I’ve got one anytime I’m pulled over. Never had an issue with LEO by doing so.

They already know when they pull you over, in Florida. You're concealed carry permit is attached to your registration and license.

MN is not among the states with a duty to inform, so IF he had a CCW he was not required to disclose it. But he was carrying illegally whether he had a CCW or not since he was carrying w/o a permit and ID.
The fact that he was out of compliance shows that he's either stupid or was up to no good - either way, he won't make that mistake again.

The guy put his hands up and got pepper sprayed in the face. He was then tackled by a group of ICE who started beating him all at the same time. He was down on all 4s getting pummeled and his with what looked like a handgun to the head (pistol-whipped). Then they opened fire on him.
The guy neither instigated nor escalated anything.
