There is going to be so much pressure on Ole Miss when LSU comes to town

It’s a year one for Lane. If he comes back to Oxford and wins — and especially if he wins soundly —it will absolutely fracture their program. Regardless of how long he lasts afterward, Golding will be a dead man walking.

There will be equal pressure on Lane. This feels somewhat similar, somewhat, to LSU going to Alabama in 2007. Les had to win that game. You feel like Golding has to win this game or else he will always be little brother. If Chambliss is the QB especially.

I thought the game was moved to Tiger Stadium? Ole’ Miss would be the home team. They wanted to play a home game in front of more than 68k.

Wasn’t this the agreement to allow our coaches to help them in the playoffs?

Lane needs to win but not nearly as bad as Golding and the Ole Miss program.

This is an absurd thing to say.The expectations are far higher at LSU. That’s not even debatable.
There is more pressure on LSUs head coach.
Ole Miss is NEVER firing a head coach that wins 9 games a year.

Year end and year out the expectations are much higher at LSU. However, Ole Miss is coming off the best season in the history of their program. This is their window. This is their time for glory. If they lose to LSU, it’s signals that it was the Lane Kiffin show all along and that they are on their way back to being the “runts.”

An LSU loss, coupled with a few other losses, is going to kill their momentum and dry up their small donation base, which is what they rely on.

They’ll be back to focusing on their chicken tenders and red Solo cups in The Grove.

Yes, that's what my post suggests in the remaining verbiage. Golding is what Les was in 2007 vs. Alabama. Had Les lost to Saban in the first year with the talent difference, he would have been blasted.

This post is not getting the ridicule it deserves.

Dont care what the perception is, that's a must win for LSU.

I'm also not worried. There is no way in HELL Lane is gonna let himself lose that game. No way.
