Cecilia alumni here. Calais makes highlight reel catches. He might be the 2nd best HS receiver in the country. 2027 gonna be special.

Is Calais the only kid McDonald would be there to visit?

Yeah, I believe Calais is the only LSU caliber at this point.

I’ve always been a fan of that program. Tough nose kids and well coached.

Here is some of his sophomore film. He plays a lot of RB for Cecilia, but projects as a WR in college. With the RB background, the run after catch potential is huge with him.

Still blows my mind that a high school team with a front court that went 6’8”, 6’10”, 6’10” never won state.

Reminds me of when Cecilia beat Evangel 31-28 in the 95 quarter finals.
My youngest brother played for Evangel back then. The game was a back and forth war all night. It really came down to one player. Y’all had a big fast middle linebacker that Wrecked Shop!!! He was a man amongst boys as they say. I bet he had 20 tackles that night.

That was a semifinal game. It was probably the craziest game I’ve ever been a part of with the stoppages for fans having to be taken away in ambulance and air med. That middle linebacker was Jerome Wiltz. He was the defensive MVP of the state that year in 3A.
