In woman’s basketball in general.. It’s what makes the game so hard to watch.

LSU women are shooting 52.8% from the field on the season.

LSU men are shooting 49.1%.

For what it’s worth.

I’m just talking layups I know they don’t keep a stat but it has to be bad. For the down voters I like the game in general it’s just the lay ups.

At least they CAN jump up and dunk it. Helps a little.

The women were a perfect 20/20 from the free throw line, 49% from the field. That will win every game.

The women are also shooting 3 percentage points better on threes.

It's also hard watch when YOU'RE NOT WATCHING.

WTF do people bitch about something being hard to watch? Just change the damn channel. You probably couldn't beat any of those girls in a one-on-one game.

The WBB basketball is a good bit smaller. I was 5 feet something in middle and was playing with a regulation size bball.

Yeah, I enjoy watching the Lady Tigers - but I have to do it in context. Same thing watching my nephews 7th grade basketball team play - I watch because I have a strong rooting interest and I don't heap unrealistic expectations on what I'm watching I enjoy it for what it is.

Having said that I watched maybe half of the LSU/OU game and watched us miss 3 layups and two put backs and still win by 20. I realize they can't jump very high and a layup is just not as easy for them as the men, they have to hoist it up a few feet.

That’s crazy good, wish the men could do that.

Malaysia came out and went 3/3 from 3 to get her game going and she had a great game. Was a fun game to go to and watch the Aggies lose

It’s similar to watching a lot of NBA then watching a college game. You don’t realize how different it is.

Why don't you take every stat where WBB is better than MBB, and inquire why, and state how hard it is to watch MBB?

All of basketball is terrible at layups. There is a big square behind the rim for a reason and apparently they do not teach this in AAU leagues or schools anymore.
