Man shot at Grace Life Fellowship Church

It was around 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 22 when deputies responded to the Grace Life Fellowship Church on Barringer Foreman, off of Airline Hwy., for a shooting.
At the scene, they found a young man shot to the head.
He was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Anyone with information on the shooting at the church in St. George is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
Anyone know any more information? Terrible.

I was on my walk about that time and heard all kinds of commotion on Jones Creek Road headed in that direction. I figured something bad had happened.
Perhaps someone was disrespected during a pick-up basketball game.

All so predictable. Step by step instructions for how to have a shooting at your establishment:
1) Host pickup basketball
2) make pick up basketball open to public
3) rinse and repeat

I thought midnight basketball was supposed to reduce the number of shootings?!

have a friend who has played there as well and asked me about going there, but then he said they argue all the time about fouls and what not and i said absolutely not. Not dealing with grown men bitching constantly about pickup basketball.

Nothing says civilized culture more than not only bringing a gun to a church rec league, but actually using a gun in said church rec league.
