The Greenland deal is the most amazing DEAL Trump ever pulled off

He gets everything he wanted and didn't spend a cent. Just let them know we'd take them up on the threat to leave NATO.
They settled right down after that. The way he played all the angles on the question when this wasn't a thing six months ago proves he's either the most gifted Politician of his age or he's got God on his side. Or both. Because this wasn't on anyone's radar and in just a few weeks he spooks them into handing him everything he wanted.
Mind blowing manipulation. Dude is Machiavelli.

He gets however much of it he wants, along with minerals, right of refusal for deals. No China, No Russia. We will be putting in bases on those pieces we need. We will add to them as we find it necessary. We don't pay them a dime.

He won everything we already had from the 1951 Treaty...yay!
The best is he won the deal through negotiating with someone who has no authority over Greenland or Denmark and didn't even know they were negotiating.

Meanwhile, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told reporters that Rutte doesn’t speak for her country.
“NATO does not have a mandate to negotiate on behalf of Denmark and Greenland."
