Started a re-watch and man it is so tightly written and well paced.
The first 2 episodes foreshadowed the last episode.

It really was a good show and how it kept evolving. Actually liked how it ended

IMO the last episode was the best ever filmed.
The entire series was really well done. I grew up in this era so that probably helps.

Same.
The fact they made me root for the KGB agents is proof of great writing.
Ending was pitch perfect and the garage scene was the most tense 11 minutes of TV you'll ever watch.

Sure is but did you have to take the lords name in vain?

I’ve seen most of FX’s most acclaimed shows and love them. I’ll have to give this a watch soon along with Shogun.

I genuinely can’t hear U2’s With or Without You and not think about the train scene.

Agreed, the finale was the GOAT. Then after the garage scene, it holds the tension through 15 minutes of virtually no dialogue.

Probably my favorite first episode of a series ever.

I have that. I’ll give it a try.

I was always hoping they would do a sequel mini series. Their son grows up and joins the FBI or CIA like he wanted to, all so he could track down his parents after the Iron Curtain fell. Really just any reason for more acting from Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell.

I randomly watch that scene . Elite television.

I'd like to see something like that.

Keri Russell
Her character was a true believer, I'd like to see her have to deal with the breakup of the Soviet Union.

That's what makes the end so crushing. We all know what's coming.

Kerri Russell's hind end agrees.
