That game he called against Alabama was special. We were blitzing and hitting. They were lucky to escape with a win.

Yeah ya right, I thought SW would be so good,(even though he hired JF @ a&m) I figured it was a&m that wanted him but BK was not the right fit for LSU Geaux Speedy Geaux

Only O and his ego could F-up an otherwise great job. ALL he had to do was recruit and stay the hell out of the way in regards to the actual on-field strategy. But he couldn't help himself. He wanted to play a style of defense that (a) didn't fit LSU's personnel and (b) was outdated relative to the way offenses were playing in 2020...and it was an utter disaster. The Alabama game and the rest of that season wasn't a fluke. It was O's dumbass finally getting out of the way and letting his DC dictate the approach...only after Kiffin told O what LSU was doing on defense was stupid.

Two flukey turnovers where the ball just bounced wrong, and yet we still had the ball with a chance at the end

As S has said, never forget when Daronte rinsed Bryce Young in Tuscaloosa.

But according to certain posters he was the problem, not O.

They need to apologize.

The Cowboys also interviewed Daronte, but ended up hiring Christian Parker, the Eagles DB coach and passsing game coordinator.

Where did jones end up?

And yes when with us, his game plan against Alabama as a 27 point underdog was a thing of beauty.

You mean once Ed was fired. Problem was always that Ed couldn’t understand complex or new defenses. He’s a 4-3 line coach.

Aranda was absolutely too smart to be his DC. Pelini was brought in to simplify things and failed.
