Americans really need to grow up and fight back hard.

For almost a century and 1/2 the rest of the world has depended upon America to defend them from others and providing aid when needed. Those dependents got greedy and with greedy American politicians and businessmen were able to rape and pillage America while a complicit MSM said nothing.
Now, America is responding. We will protect what we own and acquire what we need to benefit America for the next 1,000 years. Those countries that have abused America will not be off of the hook for a very long time.
Cuba and Greenland will soon be part of the United States of America. If an American does not like it, by all means, leave. Heck, your travel can or will be subsidized by the USA to get you the hell out of here.

I just made this point in a different thread. The blowback over Greenland really has nothing to do with Greenland and more to do with leftists coming to terms with how weak the EU actually is.

It’s not a question of need. We obviously don’t need NATO.
It’s a question of rebalancing power and re-establishing our dominance as the sole super power. Democrats and Republicans alike spent far too much energy acquiescing to the needs of our so called allies to the detriment of our own citizenry.

The ugly truth is that a near majority of the population now believes that they are entitled to economic equality. An ‘equality’ enforced via Government policy. A very large % will not and psychologically cannot hold a job even if said job paid an average American pay level.
The very powerful affect of Envy has become the prime motivator for Leftist (DEI) grievance politics and it will not go away or go back to the Capitalist Meritocracy economic model. Throw in the massive effects of AI, Robotics, TransHumanism/Convergence and possible unknown High Tech (UAP and Alien Lifeforms) and there is no telling what the next 20 years will bring. It will be radically different from the simplistic Capitalism vs Marxism argument which we now engage.

Anyone who thinks the post WWII world order that we're living in has been anything but tremendous for the United States doesn't know history. We basically have the control and reach of global empires of the past at a fraction of the cost. Throwing it away by antagonizing our allies who have allowed us to put military bases all over the world to protect our economic interests is the height of stupidity.
Unsurprisingly, Trump and his followers are fully on board with doing this. I'm beginning to suspect most of them can't read very well and therefore don't know what the world was like before they were born.
