Why shouldn’t the U.S. be able to purchase the base in Greenland?

Trump is going to pivot like he always does as we have seen time after time. The U.S. is NATO.

Because we don’t get the rare earth abilities. There’s a few reasons why he wants it. We technically have a base there already. It’s mainly to keep Russia and China from moving in.

We want Greenland, not just a base. Do you even pay attention?

Eh,Trump will figure that out one way or another. He’s going to pivot and leave the left sky screaming.

I think this is more about rare earth minerals and datacenters. which datacenters are very much going to be a part of national security much more in the future.

Greenland simply the anvil in Trump's European Nato funding strategy. He's been hammering away all the way back to his last presidency that Europe needed to start carrying their own weight militarily. Up until this point they've mostly scoffed at the idea.. It appears that Greenland is a pressure point that our European allies were not prepared for. The EU could barely muster 30 troops between a half dozen members in a symbolic show of force this past weekend... His continued hammering of Greenland is just driving home the point that the EU can't defend an island much less their own countries and borders from outside threats because they don't take their sovereignty and security seriously.

If you would ask Denmark, they probably would say OK. It's not like they have ever said no before.

Someone should show Trump a realistic map of Greenland without the Mercator projection and maybe he will lose interest.

Tell me more about data centers in Greenland.

Cooling would be cheap, but what other possible benefit is there to have a bunch of US-based mega data centers that far from our shores, on a deserted island?

Tell the truth about why Greenland remaining under the control of Denmark is so important to you.

Hint:

Because a successful acquisition destroys your narrative about Trump being a feckless leader not to be taken seriously on the world stage. You have convinced yourself that he is actually powerless when faced with the vaunted collective authority of the EU.

Trump understands history.

Denmark can’t protect Greenland if China or Russia decide to take over part or all of the country. Europe also can’t protect Greenland

So in the end, they will, as they have since 1917, depend on the US to bail them out.

Instead, let’s buy it and China and Russia will never try to take ANY part of Greenland.

It’s not for sale and Trump has threatened economic consequences and won’t rule out military action. What a menace.

Horse shite.

Then why is a giant AI data center being built in Louisiana instead of North Dakota? Or Alaska which is already a damn state.

It’s not ours and it’s not for sale. I have no idea what you are looking for.

For the hopeless Trumpkin, everything is about Trump’s status as a really big boy.

I’m highly critical of Trump and his administration when they deserve it.

I’m just not a eunuch EU simp clinging to some fantasy about their ability to oppose him and by extension the United States

So again, the truth is that’s why you care about Greenland so much.

You sure? Russia saves their citizenry from social media influence and the dangers of wrong think.

That’s a stated goal of the DNC. Remember the Disinformation Governance Board?
