The ads for this show make the plot look like a cross between The Substance and Iron Man 3.

Ryan Murphy and Taylor Sheridan are kin. Great ideas for shows, usually a great first season setting up the story, then they completely shite down their leg.

Nip/Tuck was good and AHS lost me after season 2 and I’ve considered Murphy a hack since then but I gave this show a shot and I’ve gotta say it’s actually pretty entertaining. It opens up with a Prodigy jam too 
The pace is good and it’s entertaining with the action and dark comedy. Three episodes out so far and episode 3 was probably the best one. I haven’t seen the substance yet but maybe I’ll check it out. The body horror isn’t too bad outside of Episode 1.
Let’s just hope it doesn’t go completely off the rails like most his shows do.

Pretty good show. It reminds me of American Horror Story. Probably because Ryan Murphy is the executive producer of both and Evan Peters is the lead male actor.
