Has anyone seen this movie on Netflix that came out today starring Damon and Affleck? Not a bad way to spend a couple hours.

Watched it last night and enjoyed it. Has a star studded cast and was quite intense for the majority of the movie. Would recommend for a Saturday watch.

Yeah, definitely not a waste of time but not gonna win any awards. Was a different movie than I expected going in but was very engaging.

Watched it last night as well and definitely recommend. Some intense action scenes…one of the better action movies I’ve watched in a while.

Yeah it’s one of the better movies Netflix has released and was entertaining. The first 3/4ths of it are awesome with the tension building. Felt it didn’t quite stick the landing but overall a solid 6.5/10

It seemed a lot like Ben and Matt had an idea for a movie and strong characters and wanted to do one of their movies where he have strongly written characters that get through a change/crisis , mixed with action

And they decided that would be a much cheaper far easier to write for easier to edit and make more money if they just did the action part and barely established characters

Besides Ben, Matt, and Glenn from the walking dead, there are only like 6 others in the whole cast. Besides a few extras , the cost had to be fairly cheap on personnel.

Their outfit, Artists Equity, is expensive due to the payment structure for talent. Air cost over $100 million, somehow.

But streamers keep buying the projects.

For a stay at home movie on the big screen with a highball, it was damn good

Very impressive for a Netflix movie. The whole second half of the movie is action.

Really good for Netflix. Really good.

Also of note is Damon and Affleck did Rogan this week and it was a good interview.

I liked it

Doubt I ever rewatch it but better than a majority of Netflix slop

Terrible, hard to follow because it’s so unrealistic of a scenario.

Coach Taylor is a badass. Surprised he’s not in more stuff

He doesn’t age either. Neither does Mrs Taylor, the GOAT

Felt like a quick money grab for Affleck and Damon

Prob because regardless of his role, everyone still sees him as Coach Taylor.

Did you notice at the beginning of the movie it stated that it was based on real events? I’m sure some of it was exaggerated but it’s not too unrealistic.

Anyone figure out what RIP means? I assume it’s short for ripoff.

The real event it’s based on is a cop finding a large amount of money in a house and having to count it and being nervous. That’s it.

Literally zero of the things that happen in the movie happened.
