Kiffin is that dude

These OL jumping in tbe portal is due to the fact that Kiffin is battling everyone for everything. These guys see LSU brand and Kiffin none stop in the media. We have more buzz than any school including the ones still playing. That light at the end of the tunnel coming it is a train....a Lane Train in fact.

Kelly had the #1 portal class last year as well.
On that note, can we hold off on threads more-or-less crowning Kiffin before he ever coaches a single game? ...because the second loss and this board's gonna want him tarmacked.
I think he's going to do well here, but I've also seen this story play out far too often.

Lane's done great so far in the portal, which is both exciting and what was expected as it's a strength of his, but LSU also has recruited itself long before Lane got here, NIL or otherwise.
I'm far more interested to see how he manages a game and a season.

Being number one in the portal also means that those you recruited from high school did not meet expectations and forced the coaches into alternate options

Did you not pay attention at all to Ole Miss throughout the entire year? Or what Lane had done to that Ole Miss program throughout his tenure there?
And you are hesitant to think he may not do as good at a behemoth like LSU?
Brother this isn’t lazy do nothing Brian Kelly and his embarrassingly incompetent offensive staff we have here anymore. Lane and his staff are great talent evaluators and developers. Something we LSU fans are definitely not used to. So I can see why you are hesitant.

I am more worried about LK's in game decision making than I am about his talent evaluation or getting the players. HOWEVER, if the O line can be functional (unlike last year) then we will be rolling! LFG! STTDB!
