Cajun Navy finds missing 12 year old boy in Oklahoma

Thankfully this ended great. Most locally feared the worst as both parents were arrested last week on child abuse and the boy was missing.
Grateful there are groups like this that help and are trained. And they will help watch over him to make sure he lives a healthy teenager life into adulthood

Way cooler when the United Cajun Navy stuck to rescuing people off roofs in their airboats.

You sure they didn't find him in Germany?

The real Cajun Navy doesn't have commanders. It's more of an all baws are equal sort of thing.

Look, I hate that so many peeps post repeat threads. Sometimes there are 10 of the same topic on front page. At the same time I do always scan the entire first page looking for a common topic to try and avoid repeats. I saw no posts on this topic.
I posted it because I’ve read here about all the great work this group has done over the years. And wanted to share that their great work continues. This case was about the mom and stepdad who abused him and were arrested for it. But police couldn’t find the boy and everyone was expecting the worst. And they found him hiding, he was so fearful of them he hid. Even though they were arrested he didn’t know that.
Such a great outcome and we usually only hear or read about evil and this was a feel good story with a happy ending. This group is to be commended and I’m sorry it got posted twice. Thats way less than the bad stories get.

Don't be. Not all of us are on every minute of every day. This is a fantastic story.
When I first joined this board I'd never heard of the Cajun Navy. At first, I thought it was just a joke. Now, all these years later, they're a damn special group of good people.
Do we have any known members of the Cajun Navy on this board? I know there's the one dude who feeds folks after natural disasters....dude has a great trailer to cook and serve out of. Really cool. Not sure if he's CN, though.

Thanks. Its beyond despicable what the mom and step dad did. I won’t even post the fact's here but am providing a link for anyone who wants to be disgusted. They need the death penalty.
