quote:

As Iran spirals further into chaos and President Trump weighs intervention, Bill O’Reilly reveals he spoke directly with Trump about his next move.

O’Reilly says the president asked for advice — and what he told him was decisive.

O’REILLY: “I spoke to the president on Saturday and we discussed this very issue. And I don’t offer unsolicited advice.”

“So he asked me and I said; if you have a situation where U.S. military action can tip it…can tip it…where the Ayatollah and his thugs have to leave, you do it.”

“You do in a heartbeat!”

“But it’s just maybe…kinda…might…you wait. Because it’s going to go…I don’t believe that the mullahs are going to survive. I don’t believe that.”

“Because now we have defections in the army.”

“Once you have defections in a national army, then you have a point of no return.”

“It’s not like the people, the army units that are defecting away from the Ayatollah’s authority can come back.”

“They can’t!”

I like that Trump asked him. O’Reilly has seen a lot

Seems like solid advice

Great idea. Let's ask all of the news pundits that advocated for the Iraq war to give the president some advice.

I sincerely appreciate all the work you're doing to provide updates on this matter.

I don't have the Twitters so it is very helpful and informative.

I think Trump already knows what he's going to do and he asks people just to get a pulse on how it will be received. Everything these people are doing has been planned out years in advance. Absolutely everything.

Depends on the action. Targeted strikes on party leaders? I can be convinced that’s in our best interest.

Anything other than that I’m against. Boomers don’t get to kill their grandsons in a ME war too.

So trump has been planning for years for Iran to have protests?

The idea that trump plans anything besides golf trips is fricking retarded.

Think about it big dog. Other than some temporary tax cuts what has he passed? What has he done that the next president couldn't stop with a strike of a pen? And this is your hero? How weak and pathetic. Good lord.

The US military war games all scenarios years in advance.

When the situation lines up with an optimal set of circumstances, they know exactly what to do.

You obviously have now clue about President Trump. He would ask a bum on the street his opinion. It’s what he does.

You should be grateful. Yoh have a seat at the table.

Trump has had 5 years total to do health care, but you still think he's playing politics like Magnus Carlson plays chess.

He wins because you like him & he's getting rid of people you don't want here, and because D's offer no policies to help people because they can't understand why anyone would like him.

O’Reilly has admitted that was a massive mistake. I doubt he advocated for another military occupation.

I believe it should be limited also. However, I’d go a lot further than that. If the military is being deployed effectively then I’d hit them hard a couple of times with overwhelming force. That would break them.

What a stupid implication. Boomers were the victims of this far more than the perpetrators.

The Greatest Generation (approx. 1901–1927 births): This generation is most associated with World War II, which had the second-highest number of American fatalities in history, with 405,399 deaths. Members of this generation also comprised the majority of those who fought and died in World War I (116,516 deaths) and the Korean War (36,516 deaths).

Baby Boomers (approx. 1946–1964 births): The Vietnam War is often called "the baby boomers' war". Most American soldiers killed in combat from 1967 onward were born in 1946 or after. The total fatalities for the Vietnam War were 58,209. Generation X,

Millennials, and others: More recent conflicts, such as the Persian Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan, have involved members of Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z. The total number of deaths in these conflicts is significantly lower than in the 20th-century World Wars. Iraq-related operations: ~4,605 deaths Afghanistan-related operations: ~2,459 deaths
