I would expect Longstreet decision to LSU pretty quickly here if it were a choice between LSU and Oregon for him

I think we get both. 3 way battle for QB 1 in the summer leading into the fall.

Moscana says Lane is going for both even with Clark

Leavitt isn’t going to be battling in the summer. He’s hurt

Yes that is possible. But getting at least one is a LOCK now with Raiola news, is what I meant

Miami has offered Ty Simpson $6.5 to take his name out of the draft. So apparently they don't feel great about their position with Leavitt right now

As we should be since every team should have at least 3 scholarship QBs

In the end, we have no idea what Leavitt will look like come fall practice once he's maybe able to even put on pads and play some again so if he's a guy we're taking on board we really need 2 guys to battle it out in spring here rather than have only Clark at QB.

I'm sure thats how Lane is presenting it to Longstreet/Clark is Leavitt wont even be able to compete until fall practice and we have no idea if he'll even be a full go by the time the season starts so lots of potential for both of the younger guys to win the job. If neither win it then Leavitt is only here for a year anyways and both those guys still have multiple years left.

We had zero interest? Did we even kick the tires here?

Hopefully Longstreet.

Leavitt has too big of red flags between the injury and his brother agent

No, Raiola has been a huge disappointment in college, for a guy looking to start and carry a high price tag this was an easy pass overall. We have to bank on better if we're spending money

I feel like Leavitt knows this is the better situation to grow as a QB but he also strikes me as a douche that wants to drive a lambo down Miami Beach.
