Here’s a text from a friend who certainly is in the know. Thought this was worth a post:
“Longstreet visit feels more like a safety net. I know Billy (Glasscock) was uncertain he was ever making it to campus. Lane wasn’t really involved in this one. I think it was mutual interest. The kid has family from here I believe around then northshore.”
I responded with “so Leavitt is still on?
“That’s the overwhelming expectation here. Something happened when Lane went to go see him in Knoxville. Something that was certainly concrete enough for our inner circles to start buzzing. I think you’ll get an announcement he’s LSU bound soon”
Again I cannot confirm this through anyone else but this source is a benefactor of the program and a damn notable one too. I take his word.

Raiola is crystal balled to go to Oregon which makes me think it’s LSU or Miami for Leavitt.

Earlier Philly said he still took the Miami visit because it was too late to cancel. Seems Lane literally met him at the airport
