With all the people LSU brought in and are still after, I’m not surprised. I’ll take Wilson from mizzou over Coleman anyways.

These high end portal guys i just don't see us getting with the volume of guys we have to take. We'll finish 2nd for alot of these guys. I'll feel alot better next year getting a few of these top 10 dudes.

Yep, no way teams can win getting players from lower level leagues/schools.
I mean, it's not like we're watching a team play in the championship game with this philosophy.

Can’t buy all the top players in the portal AND fill out a severely depleted roster (both in numbers and talent).esp with needing to keep a good chunk of change to buy a QB. This isn’t gonna be a fix overnight situation. Some big splashes - some projects - gonna take it all.

He didn’t come here to overpay players though. Yes he may have more money to work with here, but you don’t want to be throwing 5 million at one kid to maybe get 8 sacks from him. If you have 40 million to work with you’re putting 1/8 of your money into one player out of 105, and still haven’t paid a QB.
