I’m in Washington parish. Wondering if I should go hunting or not. I’m in a shooting house.

If you're in a shooting house, wouldn't you be hunting now?

Go.

It’ll be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Ive seen a few but mainly like to be hunting already when it stops. Bonus is you can be a noisy SOB while its storming and it doesn't matter. I love hunting a front.

I’ve always thought that deer lose their weapons so they lay up. They can’t smell and can’t hear during a hard rain …

I live in Washington parish also, and the storm that just moved through here wasn’t fit for man nor beast. God bless you if you were out in this weather.

I am headed that way from Denham shortly and was wondering if it had been rough out there.

Will check our trail cameras as there are usually deer laid up in our woods in bad weather. Would not want to be in a stand during what we had a while ago.

What’s the difference between sitting at home inside compared to your shooting house. Shooting house is not hunting so stay home and cook your ole lady breakfast and do laundry

Baby girl asked to go hunting this morning so I obliged. Son is a few hundred yards to my north in another stand. Longtime hunting friend is off to my NW hunting his place. The wife is unconscious at home. I can damn well guarantee the weather didn’t wake her arse up.

Storm wasn’t that bad where I’m at, east side of parish.

Yes. I stock the stands around October. Cans of peanuts. Water. 5 gallon propane tank for the heater. Bag of Levi Garrett. Wasp spray.

And most importantly.

A roll of paper towels.
