We just suck. The whole franchise. It’s just a big glob of shite and is a stain on the city. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt with a new name, a new arena, and knew facilities with a new owner
No GM on the planet could come in a save it

Can someone please unearth the thread from the CJ/Poole trade?

and you can do the same with Hart and NAW to GET CJ before THAT. Ingram for nothing is unrelated, and still somehow worse than all that. Bad drafting throughout aside from Murphy/Herb, who im giving scouting credit on, but who we were luckier to have hit on than we're probably acting like.
At least we can draft now though. Blow it up for picks and lets never trade for a paid vet again. its almost never worked out in any iteration of our entire existence:
Can't sign anyone big so we trade for someone in that price slot and pecking order that while a decent player not anyone that anyone should want at the price and cost and in that pecking order. Trade that stuff a million times over til its unrecognizable/gone and undoubtedly a worse situation.
We gotta build middle -(core)-out, but i do think we're best equipped to do that now if we can lay off the sauce and keep our damn heads down.

Of the five players mentioned, the Pelicans went from having the second and third best to having the two worst and being down a first for the trouble, within two years. Incredible.
This can’t be right b/c Whatidontknowsofar has told me repeatedly that we easily won the Murray trade….

All true, except the claim that Dejounte was "awful" before getting injured. That's not fair at all. He broke his hand in the first game of the season. He came back and had to get back in rhythm and then hurt the achilles.
