Watched this again on Tubi. Thought Mel Gibson was great in it.

I dont know why they never made a sequel. Bring it back. Maybe not Julia Roberts

It was never supposed to be made. Some one allowed it to be green lit.

Why no sequel? Too much truth.

I remember liking it but i can't imagine how a sequel would work. Kind of like John McClain constantly stumbling on international criminal plots?

Back in the days, when I would try to red pill my brother, he'd call me Mel Gibson in reference to the movie. I'm not sure if he'd ever actually seen the movie, because he seemed oblivious to the fact that Mel's character turns out to be right about everything.

I turned out to be right, too.

Nah. It was made deliberately and publicly on purpose. They have to tell you what they're doing. Thems the rules.

If the public "let's" it all happen... Then thats your fault.

I'd just watched this a couple years back, a first time since its original release so the story was forgotten. I thought it held up well for being about 25 years old, still a fun, well put together movie.

When I saw it in the theater, early in the movie I thought, “Oh come on—that’s ridiculous” until I realized the whole plot was all in fun. I enjoyed it

Trailblazer. He won't be the only one.

I would bet that Mel wanted to remake The Big Heat but got talked into this.

Bird on a Wire was a decent hit in 90 and pretty much started this run, other than the obvious breakout roles. Might have to find it somewhere
