They never were. Simply PR stunt to try and harm Kiffin and LSU. Ole Miss is doing the same thing to LSU’s roster.
I think someone connected to Ole Miss got the reporter to throw Charlie Weis name out there in regards to to the Giants OC position.

I don’t think I’ve rooted harder against any Alabama team in my life than I’ll root against this Ole Miss team vs Miami. They seem like the pussification of college football.

I am telling you we have all had nasty break ups but this is it. Now that they spent for their two star players and secured them it's all fine now.
