Why is CoachMc considered such a great coach on TD?

Be indifferent to the "feels".
He inherited a good Murray State program. He had their only losing season in 20+. He recruited and had Ja - awesome - and another year without Ja - and did awesome.
But that's such a limited space.
ETA: I welcome the DVs without comment. It's the MO of "we got a real coach now".

He’s not. IMO, he’s this century’s version at LSU of Curley Hallman. I don’t defend him. I defend the program, players. We have him as our coach - and Will “Wiretap” Wade ain’t coming back. Verge told me. So get behind the team and hopefully good things happen, if not, Verge WILL (not Wade) go get a good one.

I don’t think the McMen think McM is a good coach so much as they just never liked Will Wade. Because of their hatred of Wade, they feel like they need to show absolute loyalty to McM by extolling McM’s coaching achievements (or covering for his lack thereof).

I've tried to not be too critical of him in his previous years but with the extra NIL to get more quality players ( even though a critical one was missing today ), I think it's time for him to go.

No he won't. LSU never has, and never will give a shite about MBB. Women's basketball? Which is a money pit and the worst form of entertainment known to man? We're all in. But we don't give a rat's arse about the men's program. It blows my mind.

Bro he’s not, but he has a decent team this year. I believe everyone that knows basketball, is simply asking for support. No clue what happened to Thomas, just hope lsu football fans watch and stfu!

Yeah man, we’ve talked before. This is more about why is considered a great coach and coddled so much?
People think I’m anti CoachMc, but that was never the case and still not. But I’m asking what makes him this great coach.

It's weird to me there's a group of people on here that are trying to convince everyone that a coach who is 14-41 in the SEC is a good coach. 
Crazy when you think about it.
And I've been asking for 2 or 3 years now what does McMahon/his teams do well. All I've gotten is silence. No one can say what his teams do well because they don't do anything well since he's a shite coach.
To be fair, this year they are better, but I'm still not sure they do anything well. His teams have no identity. They're not good offensively, they're not good defensively, they don't rebound well. They have been shooting free throws decently this year, so I guess that's their identity?

Drizzle who said great? No one. I loved johnny, wade, and McNugget. Suck the f up and take the losses but keep rooting. But this is the best team he’s had.

The only people who consider him great are people who predicted he’d be better than the last coach before they knew anything about him or saw him coach a game.

We saw it today, he had no plan to get his best available offensive player involved. He just ran the same offense based around DJ with Reece. Thats why we lost the game. You cannot lose games against teams like ATM when McKinnon and Nwoko combine for 41 points.

I''m fine betting. I prefer a money bet than a ban - I don't have alts - and if you want to go look at FF board, I won $2k in leagues against great players. I also always throw up IQ testing also.
