Crazy how much a rematch favors the losing team

3 big ones this year alone all went to the team that lost the first time. Seems like it happens 90% of the time in cfb history

Yeah I remember the rematch of Georgia lsu in 2003.
We barely beat them during the season.
Then we beat the piss out of them in the sec championship.

I have seen it too many times.
I firmly subscribe to “it’s hard to beat a good time twice” and it turns out this way 90% of the time.

Last year Oregon/Ohio State in the Playoffs.
That's why 2011 was so unfair to LSU and a gifted Title by ESPN's Lobby.

I think bowl game rematches in particular favor the losing team.

Yeah I know that’s why I said “big ones”. Like if both teams are actually good and the game was competitive the first time

I guess you sec fan boys need to figure how to change the rules to stop this from happening then?? Lmao

There’s been a few other Bama-Georgia ones, and Auburn-Georgia a little while back

There's gonna be 4 in the playoffs alone after the semis. College football is retarded now.

It’s what the sec fans wanted, they wanted a playoff with 4 sec teams and that’s how they get it.

Guess Indiana should be on notice since they have Oregon next.

I remember LSU getting rocked by ND in the regular season then winning the bowl game rematch in 1996
Also FSU had to play UF again after winning a brutal game in 1996

The playoff keeps expanding, conf title games won’t go away, there are two super conferences, and ESPN makes every excuse to get Bama in the playoff. So lots of rematches are guaranteed every year.

Oregon on full tilt gonna payback Indiana and the Cinderella story.
Ole Miss vs Oregon gonna be epic in title game

Personally if theyre going to expand I would be fine with 16 teams, the conference championships are round 1 and everybody else plays in NY6 bowls. Then highest seeds play at home before second round of NY6 and then Rose Bowl baby
