Poster gemlsu has passed. He was a die-hard LSU fan who grew up and taught in New Orleans. He attended LSU, married a Darling of LSU and was the dad to two LSU cheerleaders. He attended every home LSU game since 1951 and only missed a few LSU games at the end of his life.
He was always the life of the party and taught me what it was to love the Tigers.

I never know if I should upvote or downvote the passing of someone. But count this upvote as a celebration of his life.

But on a positive note, he lived long enough to see the best college football team in history, his beloved 2019 LSU tigers.

My late grandfather also. Every time I saw him or spoke to him he mentioned that 2019 team.
