Who knew playing a SWAC/MEAC non-conference schedule wouldn't prepare your team for SEC?

I thought beating teams by 60 would let our coaches figure out our best rotations.

This team will be ready come March and NCAA Tournament time, but they are never ready for SEC play due to the horrendous strength of schedule each November and December.

Guess that record run of 100+ pt games was worth absolutely nothing

I’m not sure we were out coached. Team went ice cold for the last 5 minutes. 0 FG. Hard to win when you miss open shots

Her players could not hit a shot in the last 4 mins so that isn’t coaching. Would be OT now if not for an amazing last second fling by the Ky player. Good on her to win it for them.

LSU wasn't pushed in a single non-conference game. They had zero preparation on how to close out a game.

They will get there by March. But they just weren't ready for SEC play.

Can't rebound or stop dribble penetration. Not a good recipe for March. Upperclassmen bigs are slow and young bigs are too small. Furwiley should have transferred to the globetrotters. She doesn't even try to play defense. Gambling for steals every time your man has the ball is not defense.

Fulwiley not contributing hurt. She needs to quit trying to make flashy plays and play solid ball.

That dude coaches well against Kim. He gave us our toughest game during our championship run when he was at VaTech

Koval running and trying to lead a break killed any momentum. It was a bad TO. She hurt the team when in the game more than she helped.

Terrible in all aspects of the game as a team. only individual plays. Every rebound and loose ball was going to Kentucky. No offensive scheme and horrible defense.

This being the SEC opener and her players having not having played a team with a pulse yet this season is a scheduling issue. Of which lays at the feet of the head coach.

They were out coached and out performed. It happens.

The rotations were bad. Hines should have seen some time simply for her defense over Z. Johnson who didn’t do anything well tonight. Our guards are slow to rotate and play defense like middle school players (minus Richard).

Fulwiley was not good this game, but zero reason she shouldn’t have been in to contest the last second Kentucky shot. Joyner is lazy on defense and shouldn’t have been in that position. Hell. Joyner fell down dribbling tonight. At least Knox fought like hell.

I will say it seemed every loose ball went Kentucky’s way. That happens too, but we were pushed around in our house. That’s the reality.

Still. Silly fouls and too much one on one versus a team that played better team ball. Out rebounded and so on. They’d better figure that out or USCe is gonna eat their lunch.

Behind every play and REBOUNDS and apperantly Kim has no idea how to coach a team.
