Current system definitely needs a couple tweaks with the qualifying rules, but it's evident that this format is legitimate and leads to good football.

The lack of Home field advantage is the bigger issue. It’s a blizzard in Columbus tonight…imagine the Canes playing in 15 degrees and snow???

And not any played a single home game, unlike the teams in Round 1. That more than anything is my biggest gripe.

Idk typically the more physical team wins when the game is in the elements and they whooped your arse all night.

If they scored 14 in good weather, they wouldn’t have scored anything in a blizzard

I don't even think it's that, Miami was just the bigger,.more physical team.and it showed.

That and Sayin is garbage

They have the best front in the entire playoff.

the lack of home field is just annoying for the sport and fans…

Miami traveling to Dallas and then Glendale and then back home to Miami?

Oregon/Texas Tech route is Orlando, Atlanta, Miami?

Georgia/Ole Miss are New Orleans then Glendale then Miami?

it just doesn’t make sense, sucks for students, season ticket holders. sucks for lack of tailgating and bands and atmosphere, and it doesn’t reward the top teams to just stay home

This is not 1950 anymore...Playoffs with the best 16 teams would have been wild and we would be entertained.

For example we missed out on Texas @ Texas Tech in the first round. Can you image the atmosphere at that game. Two old rivals meeting again after being separated. College football is more than just who wins a national title. That game, like the game tonight, mattered to both fan bases.

Doesn’t need to be 16. But it does need to be moved up. The final four should be New Years. All other rounds happen before.

The Super Bowl is the only other postseason game of any major sport played at a neutral site. Yet college football deems that it is proper to play all conference championship games and seven playoff games at neutral sites.

Miami hasn't played a home game in the playoffs.
