How’s Broadmoor in Baton Rouge doing? North and South? Is the Amazon development helping property values? Does it still have the potential to be revitalized given that areas to the west of it Old Goodwood, Tara, etc have exploded in prices?

“Broadmoor” is a memory. It will forever be 1970-80s to me.

Depends on the section of Broadmoor. Some areas have held their value and maintain their homes and yards. Others, not so much.

Yup. Graduated from BHS in 1981. We sold my mother’s house two years ago after she passed. Was sad seeing how much it had become run down. Was a great place to be a kid in the 70s & early 80s.

Well I guess if Broadmoor has fallen, there is no need to inquire about my old high school days in Red Oak?

My folks still live there. It’s alright. At least south of Goodwood. I think the closer you get to Florida Blvd, the sketchier it gets. They haven’t had any break-ins but a few months back, their ring cam picked up some crackhead gentlemen walking up their driveway at 3am. However he took off when the flood light popped on.
