I think Shough and Shaheed could’ve been special.

Glad we got a pick and didn’t break the bank, but those 2 could’ve been fun. Looks like we have a deep ball specialist is Shough.

Never know, maybe he tests the market and decides to come back

Damn. Being so excited about the recent success I forgot about shaheed. Man what could have been? I hear you. But I don’t know if we could afford him anyway. I’ll take the pick. Sad to see him get hurt this week too.

He still hasn't taken that next step offensively and im not sure he ever will.

8 games with Hawks so far 186 yards receiving 0 TDs.

He still does pretty much all his damage on special teams.

Can't blame it on the system as should be familiar with it.

He is one of those I constantly root for but im not sure he'll ever been anything more than what he is now

Yeah I hated to see him go.

For him to make a name for himself after being an undrafted free agent was pretty cool.

There for a while. He was definitely one of the few players that was exciting to watch.

It does feel like the Saints are building something though. It would have been nice to see him stick around but I understand why they did what they did and traded him.

He was not a top 2 receiver on a playoff team.

Great returner and very good downfield target but the Saints properly realized that Shaheed and Olave are both complimentary players, not true #1 receivers.

If we keep winning, I guess Tate would be good if the Saints slide back to drafting fringe top 10

At his next salary, he would be a luxury piece. We’re not in position to have those but, he has value

Unless something changes, he's as cheap as he ever will be.

Getting him on a friendly deal would be great for this team. I just can't see paying him big money though...and I love Shaheed.

For not being a #1 receiver, Olave has put up #1 receiver #'s

I think Olave could be the #1 WR, but I agree with many, he’s got to get better at making the tough grabs more consistently. He has had some amazing receptions this year, but he’s had a few that could have made the difference that he didn’t come down with.

I don’t think we’d want to pay Olave AND Shaheed. I think Shough has proven to be good enough that the staff and FO will hopefully take into account the type of WRs and weapons he feels most comfortable with while retooling the offense.

Example are the jags and Lawrence. He looks significantly worse when he hyper targets BTJ than he does Parker Washington and Jakoby Meyers. I don’t think anyone would say those guys are more talented overall than BTJ but the routes they run better align with where he likes to go with the ball.
