I want to see how much more competitive the Kentucky game is. Only Duke and La Tech have given any test so far. I feel good about the team though.

Mulkey obviously realizes what she’s built and what she has with this team. Not only generational individual talent, but a very cohesive group that goes 11 deep or more. Bella Hines, Grace Knox, Zakiyah Johnson, and Richard could prove to be the best bench in WCBB.

FlauJay, Mikayla and Fulwiley can create their own shots in one-on-one matchups as good as anyone in the country. Then they have the beef in the post with Koval, Joyner and even the freshman Yarnovich…..and did I
Mention future All American Grace Knox? And they run the floor and PLAY SWARMING DEFENSE better than any team Mulkey has had at LSU. I’m buying Kim Mulkey stock in my portfolio.

All of this. And that 11 deep squad seems to be infinitely interchangeable. Not on the sense that they can each play all positions. Mor like It’s there are not just 2-3 combinations of players she can put in together. She can almost sub any of them at any time fir any player on the court and they will keep rolling.

Ok officially, but not really. Just like Fulwiley isn’t a bench player.

Exactly. It seems like she’s been trying many different combinations of line ups. USCe is damn good too but I’d hate to be Dawn Staley this season trying to combat this gargantuan offense and defense.

Texas seems the best SEC WBB team so far this year. Their defense is really tough. We have not beaten Texas (since they entered the SEC) nor have we beaten Carolina in Kim Mulkey's 4+ seasons.

We have a great and deep team, but so does Carolina and Texas.

I cannot wait to see how we play versus UK and @Vandy in our first 2 SEC games. It's getting real now.

Good post but I’ll be interested to see how much Mulkey sticks with playing this many players. If you watched the Duke game(our only legitimate opponent) we only played 8 players. IMO she should, even if it results in losses.
