Hope we have another productive draft, sign a few good FA and resign a couple of veterans. We have the franchise QB and coach combo. We are heading in the right direction.

Anyone who isn’t isn’t a fan.

It’s the most optimistic I have felt after a season with such a losing record.

Saints are at least a full year ahead of schedule, maybe even two, thanks to Shough’s development.

I still think they’ll just be ok next year, no playoffs, but there should be a different vibe and much hope for the future.

Disagree here. We’d be in the playoffs based solely on Shough’s own games if Olave catches the ball in Miami

That’s with rattler giving us a 1-7 start. Think about that

We’re going to win the division

Hell the Bucs may blow it up after this season’s collapse

I need to see some FA signings and a really good draft.
I don’t think this team can consistently beat winners just yet.
If they lose to Atl next week, they would have another 4th place schedule though, right? That would be very helpful.

Im excited but understand this team still has glaring holes and a cap issue. So if they win 8 or so games ill be happy as long as the team continues to progess. Then in 2027 I think they should be a playoff team consistently if Shough continues to develop and they draft well.

Very excited, though I don’t think of this team as a playoff team yet. Of course they could win the division and get in but the teams beat in this four game win streak are 21-43, and that included a 7-9 Tampa that’s lost six of their last seven.

But excited nonetheless, just being in contention to win the division would be extremely exciting.

I think it's too early to put money on either way, but if they're in the chase until the last week or two, it'll be fine. They're really only what, 1.5 games out of the division right now?

Even after today? I thought this was a big win for the teams future. Shough may have sealed rookie of the year. And he wasnt rattled down 13.

The Saints can take the division next year and make it.

I mean… they’re playing the Titans who have pretty much given up.

I am thrilled with the team’s progress. I absolutely think they have shown enough to get us excited about the future. They went from one of the worst teams in the league to… #24? #22? That’s a great leap. I just don’t think we can say they’ll move up another 8-10 spots next season.

Edit: just a quick count, I’d say the Saints are ranked about #25.

You didn’t watch the game if you think they gave up

This is false. The titans havent given up. They won 2 of last 3 and played very hard today. The jets and raiders have given up, not tenn

Ohhhhhkay. The Titans are in contention. They are clearly one of the best 3-13 teams of all time. How could I possibly discredit their enormous talent?

No need to be a sarcastic jackass when you outed yourself as not paying attention. Their dline and receivers in particular played pretty well today

Discrediting the Saints performance by saying the Titans gave up makes you look ignorant

You're dumb. Never said they are good or anything but to say they have given up is just dumb. You can only play who's on ur schedule and that was a hard fought game between 2 teams that are eliminated

The NFC South will continue to be the weakest division in the league. 8-9 could very well get you in the playoffs next year. Our goals should be playoffs. I haven’t been this excited for a season since Brees last year.
