The Pete Carroll smoke has been building for the last few weeks. They look terrible in every facet, and have made zero improvements, plus Pete looks lost.
Also this probably should be moved to the Coaching Changes board. Black Monday is next week. That board is about to heat up again.

Agreed.
Now their best player is disgruntled, they’re looking at another HC hire, their team overall is lacking any kind of talent outside of Bowers, Jeanty and Crosby (who might be traded), and they have nothing at QB.

The Raiders roster is basically the Titans with one skill position difference (RB) . Should be a five year rebuild with any competency, but probably ends up as 10.

Pete had one successful sustained stop in his coaching career. The Raiders hiring him was comedic. Im surprised it lasted this long.

When you play in the league so long you see so many rookies you probably get a feel or a knack for when they're going to pan out or when theyre just going to flame out. So he might be able to see the things you can't see on tape and with Phillip Rivers showing how weak the current NFL QBs in terms of commanding the field its not a bad idea especially if Atlanta is not a huge fan of what theyve seen from Penix so far.
