We definitely played poorly on offense and defense, even if Tre dez, Parker had a monster game. And I know we always do this but I thought the officials were as bad as I have seen in a while but
1) No way was our TE on the line of scrimmage and an illegal player down field. Even the game hosts.

He was covered up by another TE, making him a blocker/lineman and an ineligible receiver

He was in a slot position in backfield. How was he covered up?

No he wasn’t. This was even covered by the rules expert during the game. It was a bad call.

Sharp was in the backfield lined up a yard behind the line. Traydez was ineligible on the play, he was on the line.

So you have no idea what you're talking about. Good to know.

The PI call and subsequent unsportsmanlike penalty at the end of the first half were the difference in the game.

The asinine play calling cost us the game. Shotgun with 6 inches to go? Seriously.

No, with 35 points, we should have won. Defense lost this one.

The difference in the game was we had significant players on defense opt out. Houston had ZERO opt outs total. That was the difference in the game. If I told you we would score 35 before the game you probably say we win. And with our starting defense they don’t run for 200 or score 38 in my opinion.

If you watch pre snap, Sharp steps back and tells Green to step forward. It was clearly done, I thought, to show the officials who was on the line and who was not. Replay only showed the angle behind the offense. But the sideline view shows it.

Either way the play was screwed up. Trey was either supposed to be inside of Bauer or Bauer was supposed to block. They were looking at each other like they had no idea who was supposed to be where. Classic 2025 LSU offense.

You, sir, have no idea what the rules of an eligible receiver are!
