Anyone remember the 21-pt comeback in 4Q when LSU won 35-34? Electrifying!! All Eyez on 3! DiNardo’s 2nd season and LSU went on to win 10 games defeating Clemson in the Peach Bowl 10-7.

Weird season because we went 10-2, but both of our losses were complete arse kickings by Florida and Alabama. We tied Bama for co-champs in the SEC west, but interestingly enough we didn't put up a freaking banner to celebrate it

Yeah, I was in the student section as a grad student at LSUMC. We were pretty much all in shock when the score was 14-34 Houston. The comeback was epic.

I was there. KF broke it down the sideline. Looked like lightning and wasn't anyone catching him. I had a Houston coach ask me about him saying he beat them singlehandedly. My reply was "Kevin is a badass".

I’m pretty sure Faulk ran a punt back for a td on the first play of the 4Q.

LSU was losing 34-14 to start the 4Q in the season opener.

Then 1999 happened. Saban was hired the week after the Houston game.

Wasn’t this the game Faulk was suspended for the first half?

I was working at the LSU Vet bldg and this was my first season as a season ticket holder.

Faulk was living in a townhouse two doors down from me.

I never asked for an autograph.

I recall that game. If I remember correctly, Dinardo lost some support among the LSU fans afterwards by scolding them for being upset about having to come from so far behind to pull out the win against a mid-major team. He said something like "We haven't been winning long enough around here to be turning our noses up at any win."

I was there. Down 20 and Faulk took over.

ETA - 4q begins around 16 minute mark.
