Interesting both Albasha and Serops are closing their Corporte Blvd locations.

These would appear to be good spots for lunch biz. Wonder what’s going on.

Where did you see Albasha is closing its Citiplace location? I can’t find that announcement anywhere.

Serop's closing was posted here a month or so ago. Didn't realize Albasha on Corporate was closing too.

Last time I went to Albasha I paid nearly $50 for a shawarma, grape leaves, and iced tea. This is like 90% rice, garbanzo beans, and lettuce. I love the food but I just won't do it anymore.

Business Report said it was last month but then again Biz Report not in danger of winning a Pulitzer Prize any time soon. Maybe they got the 2 restaurants mixed up.

For reference, I visit the Sherwood Albasha and the Shawarma salad on the lunch special and Ice tea with tax is just at $20 before any tip.

I call BS unless you tipped way too much or you're rounding up significantly.

Even then it's because you paid for a $10 appetizer instead of just ordering the Albasha platter where you would saved around $10 plus got a kibbi!
