Zelenskiy Expects to Meet With Trump Sunday on Peace Plan

Good to see that Zelenskiy is finally recognizing reality.
Trump is the only one who can force movement here, and Zelenskiy knows it.
Somehow though, that still means more frameworks, more refinements and Europe chiming in from a screen. No surprise from Europe though.
If real leverage comes out of this, I will be surprised. So far, history suggests that we will get yet another announcement, another plan and the war keeps rolling along.
It's progress I guess but I still doubt anything gets done. Zelensky is doing everything he can to fight this and be cutesy about it.

This isn’t to discuss a peace plan. It’s a grandstanding and begging session.
He wants all the potential sources of funding present.
Again, no peace plan is good enough if your goal is to keep the gravy train rolling. He’ll sacrifice all of his countrymen for it.

This won’t happen without Ukraine ceding territory to Russia. If Zelensky truly wants to progress peace talks, he must keep this in consideration. Chances of that happening are low until we cut the umbilical cord
