If Zion could get over coming off the bench he and Poole could wreck teams.

Maybe playing against bench rotations will get Zion’s confidence up and get him to work harder on his game. Teams now know all they have to do is defend Zion’s left because that’s where he’s going. If he could get a consistent 17 foot jump shot to go with his drive left to the rim and his 7 foot floater.

The stockholm syndrome some of this board have for Zion is crazy.

Said every Pels fan for 7 seasons now...

It's not happening.

Nope I’m so done talking about Zion being anything more than what he is. He’s an injury prone slasher that can’t shoot. He can pass and drive to the basket but he doesn’t play defense nor shoot the ball. Nothing more

agreed... it's really weird, b/c alot of the same posters that are advocating for keeping him, b/c he's putting up numbers in the handful of games he's playing, will be the same ones calling him "fat" and "lazy" when the inevitable injury happens again... the oscillation between love and hate for this guy, by some posters, is entertaining, if nothing else

that was definitely not the tone of your OP... it's absolutely reads as if you are advocating for him to accept the 6th man as part of our future plans for Zion...

you mentioned nothing about "trade" or "trade value" in the OP

I want Zion to stay healthy, play well and help us win and/or increase his trade value.

Run with it until we get close to the deadline and see where we are.

I feel this is now DQs team

this is where most fans are.... the OP, despite his tacit attempt to walk it back a bit, seems to want to keep Zion, not trade him

Yeah that’s all we can hope for is that we keep winning and Zion does well off the bench. Then the narrative can be pushed that he just needs “ a fresh start” and hopefully we can net a first round pick or two from a desperate win now team during the deadline.

The entire NBA would laugh at us if we trade Zion for a late 1st round pick.

Teams are salivating to take advantage of stupid organizations. They want our players for cheap.

Why do people keep saying this "only drives left" shite. Bro dribbles right like 35 something % of the time, far beyond the NBA average.

He can't layup with his right as good as some of his peers, but he dunks with his right better than all of them. Seems like a confidence thing but in reality, most NBA players don't drive with their weak hand.

You may not have noticed this, but Iveraon's left hand was awful. He couldnt make a strong drive going left at all, anytime he has to use his left he would pull up after 1-2 dribbles. Zion gets left and drives right at a damn near elite level, he just can't finish with his right as well as some of his peers.

Please stop this conversation that's not based in reality. I know what you are trying to say, but you should actually say it instead of generalizing off hand slashing as if everything falls to one specific skill. Zion drives to his off hand more than 90% of NBA players, he just doesn't finish with it.
