I'm definitely more optimistic... well, more optimistic than a year and two months ago.

The noose felt like it was squeezing ever tighter during Biden's rein- socially, financially, crime-wise, control-wise.. everything.

I paid $2.04 per gallon for gas yesterday in BR. God bless President Donald J. Trump. Long may he reign!

Edit:

Actually it was $2.02.

I'm better off. Country feels like it's slowly moving in the right direction - the chaos of the opposition can be a struggle to overcome but it's not impossible.

Better off than I was last year, better off than I was when Biden was president, I will be better off whenever the next president takes office.

I couldn't imagine my welfare being tied to whoever is president.

I guess you’re economically illiterate then. Your taxes went up and your purchasing power went down drastically between 2021 and 2024.

No but it has zero to do with Trump.

59 and worked in a field that went away.

Trying to figure out what to do next

Not really. Inflation is the only policy that affects me directly.

Wouldn't say I was worse off much either. Bout the same for the most part.

Things are definitely moving in the right direction. But I’m not sure I’m better off yet. Will certainly be by this time next year.

Could be. Or it could be that mommy and daddy did what is/was necessary (they sacrificed) to provide you with everything you needed. So you could sit in the basement, play video games and pretend to be somebody/something you're not on the internet. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and Santa brings you lots of toys, but you might get a lump of coal in your stocking.

Jfc this board has become a cesspool. If simply saying keeping my head down and not worried about things outside of my control elicits this type of response, it's no wonder it's the echo chamber it is.

I didn't have to watch "My Tranny Christmas Story" this year.
